2012 Mitsubishi Cedia Select sedan launched at Rs 8.9 lakh
Hindustan Motors has launched the 2012 edition of the Cedia sedan that comes loaded with added features.
Hindustan Motors has launched the 2012 edition of its mid-size Cedia sedan called the Cedia Select at Rs 8.9 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) and comes loaded with a range of new features.
The upgraded Cedia sedan features a seven-inch MyMyIndia 3G Android tablet that will enable customers to make calls, watch television, surf the internet and also provide video-chatting facilities, besides offering navigation support.
The portable tablet can be mounted either on the windscreen or at the back of the headrest of the front row, providing the rear seat passengers with some in-car entertainment. The tablet is connected to a 12 volt power supply in the car that keeps its battery running.
Apart from the tablet, the Cedia Select 2012 features a 4-speaker Kenwood DVD player with a 6.1-inch touchscreen interface and also a reverse parking camera.
Powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine, the Cedia sedan churns out 115PS of max power and 175Nm of max torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-Speed manual gearbox.
The Cedia sedan is manufactured at the company's Thiruvallur facility and comes equipped with safety features, including day and night rear view mirror, front airbags and child-protection rear lock.
The new Mitsubishi Cedia Select 2012 will be offered in three colour options - White Speed, Black Flash and Rally Red.
