Ferrari 312PB Scale Model

Photo: ---Man Builds Fully-Functional Ferrari 312PB Scale Model

Pierre Scerri, the man behind the stunning 1:3 scale model spent no fewer than 20,000 hours working on the car, fabricating each and every little part until it fit. He even built an exact replica of the original engine, but the one in the model only displaces 100cc. Nevertheless, it still sounds like the flat-twelve of the actual car.

Also, the engine works, and so does the gearbox which is connected to the wheels. According to the builder, if they could find a person small enough to fit inside the cockpit, the car would be perfectly drivable. We applaud Mr. Scerri for his effort, and we hope he has the time and patience to make another one, in the same stunning detail.
