Mercedes SL65 AMG Gets Chrome Purple Wrap and ADV.1 Wheels

We can’t help but start this piece of news with telling you that the V12 technical masterpiece in the SL65 AMG you see in the adjacent images is probably crying its valves out due to the fact that the metallic package that holds it has been covered in a color like chrome purple.

We don’t know why the owner chose this shade that falls i

nto the “overkill” category, but we’re happy that at least he chose a proper set of wheels. The rims on this car come from ADV.1 Wheels, which gifted the SL65 with its ADV05DC goodies. As their name suggests, these come with a deep concave profile.

The new wheels use a matte black finish that matches the color of the various details used by the front and rear fascias of the vehicle.
